PreAlpha 2.0


This update added a lot of grounwork for future updates, that's why it may semm not much was added. In this update a prtototype for a city and a fighting system were added. These two systems especially the city are in early stages and will need atleast two updates to go were I want them to be. 

All the changes, or most of them...:

Bugfixes:

Got rid of ugly border around the notsheet

The protagonist always fades in now disregarding the speed of changing floors

Letter now get displyed with the correct name

The Brightness according to the time gets now saved -> if it's night it's dark -> if it's day it's day

Fixed an issue where the date and amount of the due taxes wasn't displayed correctly

Changes:

The house and the protagonist have adjusted scales to be more "realistic"

The UI looks cleaner and the texts are sharper

unified return buttons

Adjustemnts to the scale of many objects, including the protagonist, the house trees and many more things

The area in which the house stands got extended

The Letters and books now have their own brightness which means they're unaffected by the daytime brightness

new bootsplash

new game icon

the movemnt of characters got a remwamp and should look more natural

there are now more items in the inventory from the start

Additions:

A very very early prototype of a village (very unfinished but it's accessible via a gate just for show)

-> two villagers following preprogrammed paths with no intelligence

-> houses with bare collisions for the protagonist

enemies during expeditions with battle sequences

-> only 1 Enemy with 1 Attack, will be increased dramatically in the future

-> the enemy follows th player when coming near it

-> when close enough a battle starts

You can now read aesops Fables in the protagonists house

All books on the shelf are filled with content

Many improvements to the look of the house and its surrounding areas (grass, trees)

You can now move anywhere in the World by using a mouse click

ambience sounds added to the letter and book

background changes on the brewing stand

added background to the shelves

added a big label on top of the screen when hovering over a book for the title to be easily readable

added a pan when moving the mouse (may be decreased or rmoved entirely not sure :) )

added collisions to the boundaries of the house


Next Update(28.11-5.12):

The next update is set to be released in one or two weeks and will focus on adding the remaining illnesses I have sitting but not in the game, a finished battle system with many more enemies and the expeditions in general. The city was only added as an extra and really won't be my focus until the battles and expeditions are in a somwhat finished state.

A finished state of the Battle System:

-> atleast 10 different enemies with different attacks, strength and weaknesses

-> descriptions inside the book on the effect each potions and herbs has on a body that's healthy

-> being able to buy guides describing these enemies that you can buy in the town

-> random spawns during expeditions

Random non-hostile enemies aorund the village and the protagonists house
